First Time I MeditatedWhen I was very young, I thought always I was a special kid. As I grew up and not being obvious to me why that was so, I asked myself one day why I was special.
In my mind, I tried to come out with a sensible reason, but could not really find it. So then, I stopped thinking and just paid attention to my mind doing nothing. To the blankness, to no-thought. And it occurred to me that that was what I was looking for-what made me special. I felt like THAT (which I could not name) was a source of wisdom, somehow.
Still later on, I remember this odd little moment in time and know that every human being on this planet is special, and they truly are - for that very reason.
