Wish I Had Started Meditating When Much Younger

Meditation might have made me a calmer person, even back then, say, as a teenager: so many impulses could have been curbed, fewer mistakes made, more "looking before leaping" perhaps; but then, I do like the life I have now, most of it anyway; and I got here, most of the way, without meditation. Maybe I would have taken the same path, but experienced it more during the journey.

                   Does that make sense?...

I think if I'd been meditating from a younger age I would be smarter now, because I would have experienced life more fully, more thoroughly; and as they say, "experience is the best teacher."

The main point was to say that using meditation would have allowed me to "BE HERE NOW" instead of being one place wishing I was (figuratively), somewhere else.

So right!
The "does this make sense?" rings very well with me. It is one of those things I ask frequently which is a sign of second guessing and apologizing for being myself.
Well done. No need to secong guess.
