Always Chatting. Always Learning.

Growing up, I always felt socially awkward, and was darn near painfully shy.  I think it had a lot to do with moving around so much as a child (five moves before the 6th grade).  The older I've gotten, though, and as my self confidence grew, I have found that my shyness has been left behind and I wind up talking to pretty much anyone with ears.  I also write (it's my sanctuary), so talking to a variety of people helps me to learn about experiences beyond my own - experiences that usually wind up in a short story or at least an idea for one.  I find that as long as a person has an open heart and an open mind, then the boundaries are limitless.  You can never have too many friends.
