It's really hard for me to express my love of movies. I feel like my friends don't understand, and then I'll meet someone who feels the same way I do and they just understand my passion.

Film is a calling for me. I rent four or five movies a week, usually all ones I haven't seen, and just shut myself in with the television for hours of bliss. I learned to write about movies from a very special teacher I had and now that's all I want to do, watch and write.

Making movies has always been very tempting, but I couldn't write a screenplay if you held a gun to my head. Instead I create monster makeup and fake blood, setting up murder scenes in the bathroom and taking pictures. This provides significant entertainment for all my friends, who have come to like being covered in the stick red slime I make in my kitchen that looks remarkably like the real thing.

If there's anything I love more than movies, it's great movies. Here are my top ten, in no order:
2.Apocalypse Now
4.The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover
5.Rocky Horror Picture Show
6.The Lady from Shanghai
7.American Beauty
8.Fight Club
9.Monty Python's The Meaning of Life
10.Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

I love movies too, but I never take time to watch any... too bad we couldn't watch 'em together :P

Of your list I have only seen three of those in their entirety! Shame, shame, shame. I have seen bits of four of them though.<br />

Your fake blood sounds very impressive! Would you consider doing SFX as a vocation?

I forgot Lost in Translation! I love that movie.
