Right now I have my DVR playing. I am listening to episodes of Family Feud. I am typing this. I am listening to a song on iTunes on repeat. I was reading a news article online just before typing this. Chatting with others in the comments boxes while the tv and music both have my attention too. Reading emails in my main email on another social site that is my online home page.

I love to multi-task physically and mentally. Sometimes I will have my DVR on and listen to the game shows while reading book after book. Sometimes I just do a literary multi-task meaning I read one book and can put it down mid-read and read another book, so on, so forth, and stay on track of what's happening and just memorize the page numbers I was last on.

My biggest multi-task in Hawaii before I moved to the mainland and started living by myself was when I was watching DVR episodes of my favorite shows, drawing in my drawing book, and conversing with my stepdad who came to chat with me. Even he was shocked by the fact that I was paying attention to all three. Add to it being able to pay attention to movement and chatter in the next rooms which also had my family shocked.

I love being able to multi-task. No matter if the tasks are don't-have-to-think-about-it to have-to-really-challenge-yourself. My brain is not being used in negative ways and that's a good thing. Very relaxing to my mind, body, heart, soul.
