Music is the universal language. I absolutely enjoy it, I just wish I could sing better. :o)

I love music too, when i drive and feel aggressive, i change to classical music and it relax myself and i feel much better in my driving

I do agree with you about using music to get away from every day things. the only type that I don't really care for is Rap.

My music tastes are very eclectic too. I listen to a lot of classical and jazz, but also love bluegrass and really anything that cooks.

Quite a few people can't seem to grasp that hard rock and heavy metal music calms me down when I am irritated or in a bad mood. I think it has to do with the fact that I have a lot of pent up anger that the music helps me to release. If there were no rock music, I don't know that I'd be able to stay so calm LOL

I totally feel the same way about music. I just goota have it.

I feel that way too. listening to one genre gets a bit redundant after awhile. I like to switch it up.

one day i could feel like Dream Theater, one day I could feel like Daft Punk.

I know exactly how you feel! I have so many different kinds of music in my collection that it absolutely baffled my husband when we started dating. When he saw my CD collection, which had everything from Vivaldi to the Violent Femmes to Merle Haggard, he said, "What kind of girl ARE you, anyway?" I laughed and said, "one you'll never figure out, even if we know each other 100 years."

I think there's a point in your appreciation for music where you start to universally accept and become open to all different genres of music. I'm kind of the same, I like the blues, pop rock, indie, screamo, hip hop, and a whoole bunch of different genres. And all of it helps me sort of forget for a while.

It is great to like different kinds of music. When yor mood changes you can listen to differnt stuff.

i too likemany kinds. moat country and rock,but I have jazz, r&b, and chritian as well as few classical and tons of christmas music. I also like parodies and funny songs.
