I Love Music

High School Band

I love music sooo much, but not like most other people. I've been in band since I was in 6th grade, and since 9th grade i've been doing colorguard(flag twirling) for my high school marching band. Music on the radio or from a CD doesn't have the same effect as you sitting in an enclosed room during a low brass sectional just listening to the tenor and bass notes mix.
You feel it in your heart, your chest gets tight and you just feel so elated as this sound not only flows around you but through you...

    i completely agree...i was in band for 11 years...and there truly is nothing better than that low bass line playing (all in tune hopefully...lol)..........



    i was also in choir for 12 years....and goodness i miss doing all the music....it was the greatest part of my life....the part i was most proud of.



    where i lived we started band and choir early than any other place i know of...that's why i was in it so long. and i'd give anything to be back and doing all those competitions for the mere slight rush knowing that we played or sang the piece perfectly.
