Music Is the Beat of a Mother's Heart.

I had a conversation yesterday. Private, don't ask. It was between my friend and I. Both of us deal with depression, and are bi-polar. I'm making it sound like we're boring and emo, aren't I? We're not, both of us are quite popular, we have good friends and interesting ones, we aren't always happy, but people describe me as a relatively happy guy. I'm not really. I'm just good at hiding it, and I'm getting better at dealing with it. Anyway, I mention this because we talked about how music has been a sort of therapy for the both of us. Both of us are music freaks, afficionados really. I don't think I could live in a world without music, and I don't think a lot of other people could either. It is our passion, our heartbeat for the world to share. I listen, write, and play music, and I couldn't live without doing so. Or I couldn't live well anyway. So thank you music.

Three cheers for music!

I haven't listened to music in a long time, just started doing so again recently, and I forgot how it can literally just change your mood. For me, for some reason, it makes me feel more in control of my life.
