Fragile Boyfriend

Hi
My boyfrien- who was my youth group friend- now boyfrien- is soo fragile. We get into fights almost every week and the junk part isI only see him on weekends and during the week in church. which means we only have quality time over weekends. So when I'm making a joke with him or I speak my mind about something, he gets angry and doesn't talk to me at all- which ends up in me sucking up to him and then getting angry too, when he doesn't wanna forgive me. We had a fight last night too, and I thought it would be best if we broke up because it seems that I'm always causing fights. I try to keep my mouth sometimes, but the words just slip out... I just want our relationship to work
