I Am So Grateful That I Have Him

Out of all of my family, I am most grateful for my brother. He is the only member of my family to truly accept and support me.
My mother and sister refuse to accept me for who I really am. My nephew is trying but I think that it's hard for him to understand what's really going on. He is still rather young. My niece is just stuck in that self-absorbed, mouthy teenager stage. I lost my Dad several years ago, before I could tell him who I really am.
After I explained everything to my brother, and of course answered a grip of questions, he accepted me without holding back. From the start he has called me by my chosen name and has used the correct gender identifiers. When I lost my job he helped me to be able to afford T. He is always there when I need to talk, even when it appears to make him uncomfortable. I don't know what I would do without him.
