Smooth And Velvety

I had once been one of 'those' women.... hating ***** stars and getting pissy over women forever altering their appearance for the sake of other people finding them attractive. All that changed when a wonderful woman challenged me to discover if perhaps there was another reason that some women shave their genital area. After all, I shave under my arms, and always have. I shave my legs, though not as religiously as I might have. I even groomed my bikini area so my pubes wouldn't poke out of my bathing suit. Never one to back down from a dare...I did it.

For the uninitiated, or the grossed out curious types...you can NOT simply shave off all your genital hair one day, and not expect some problems to arise. You absolutely MUST take off the layers of hair IN layerS!!! Start off by bringing in the sides tighter and tighter and only shave every other day--maybe even let a few days in between. If you go right for the gusto, and shave everything off all at once, you're likely to get those awful bumps and discover the core definition of 'itchy.' Honestly, I was so glad my girlfriend was kind enough to share all these details with me, cause there is nothing as desperately uncomfortable than a freshly shaven mons that is inflamed, irritated, raw, red and ITCHY as hell!!! So go slow, and take it all off in steps.

Once you've brought the sides in and you've got a nice landing *****,.. then head for the lips. To start, it helps to sit right down on the floor of the shower or tub and spread your legs WIDE. USE SHAVING CREAM WITH A DOLLOP OF CONDITIONER!!! Going from your leg edge inward toward the lips, shave gently and don't worry the first few weeks about getting a clean tight shave. You're just getting your skin used to the razor and to being shaved. After a while of shaving off the outer sides of your outer lips, you can start to pull them open. For some, you might find that hair also grows on the inside edge of your outer lips. Don't be afraid and only venture here when you feel absolutely confident. Getting cut here would suck, suck, suck.... and NOT in a good way. Gently, with one hand, pull the lip flat against the edge of your leg and hold in place with two fingers. Cover with shaving cream and conditioner while holding the lip down--don't switch hands, you need a firm-dry grip on your lip or it will slip out of your fingers at the worst possible moment. Ok, gently glide your razor down the lip. As you shave, gently roll the lip to flatten it more with the edge of the lip up. This will help you keep it flat so you can shave it without accidentally nicking it. I can't say this enough, do NOT try for the clean shaven thing for a while. Believe me, your man, or lady will certainly appreciate the effort here if you've never done it before. You can perfect your technique later on!

Now for the problem area, that little notch right at the top of your lips. OK, so to avoid getting cut here the key is to be willing to pull and tug the flesh in various ways, to get the area as flat as possible as you take the hair away. It takes a lot of practice and you do not need to get it perfect right out of the gate. All grooming here is greatly appreciated by the lovers. When you realize you're very nearly bald down there, it's time for YOU to play... the feeling of panties sliding over a bald ***** is glorious. And the feel when you reach down and stroke yourself is so wonderful, almost heavenly. It just feels good. So, even though a lover might find my ***** wonderful, the truth is... I shave it bald because *I* love it!!! I love the way it feels. Just walking around, and ************. Feels so intense because the hair is all gone and I can feel sensation right on my skin. Also, hair doesn't wrap around my toys or fingers when I'm trying to work myself over (and you girls out there know how frustrating THAT is). Pure glide, pure joy. Join me, but only if YOU want your kitty that way!!!

Lick, slurp ... as a person who has choked and gagged on my share of ***** hair, I applaud you shifting to the bald side

I wish I'd been so lucky for someone to clue me in, like your friend did! Great advice! Personally, waxing is worth the discomfort upfront because it spares me the painful and inevitable ingrown hairs shaving causes. I'm SO prone to them I have to scuba my legs with sugar before I shave to prevent them on my shins of all places. But shaving or waxing, the end result is pleasantly the same. The first time I got a Brazillian wax was to surprise my husband, but I definitely did it for myself once I discovered the trade off.
