Distinguish

I just read this and wanted to share .... it's something I need to teach myself, as well as my daughter.
The good news is that I believe she's already there .... she already knows this in the core of her being.
The bad news is ...... I don't.

We need to teach our daughters to distinguish between:

a man who flatters her
and a man who compliments her,

a man who spends money on her
and a man who invests in her,

a man who views her as property
and a man who views her properly,

a man who lusts after her
and a man who loves her,

a man who believes he's a gift to women
and a man who believes she's a gift to him.

And then we need to teach our sons to be that kind of man.

You have a good perspective. You have taste and insight. I hope it will always serve you well.

Good catch ..... Respect is so very important
Thanks for your comment. I'm working on myself .... getting better every day.

You're being overly hard on yourself :-) I think you have a very healthy perspective on men and relationships, for what it's worth.
...just one bone to pick...I don't see anything about respect?
