I Love My Family

This Is My Goal

I want to be able to say that, after all my family (my parents to be precise) has done to me - abuse me, neglect me and cause me considerable amounts of distress, I want to forgive them and tell them that I love them..

    That is an admirable goal. To help you on your goal I'd like to suggest the books Thich Nhat Hahn, a Buddhist monk. Particularly good "Peace in Every Step". They are not religious, just insightful about the human condition.
