Flip Flops Rule

This happened about 6 years ago and now its soo funny to me.

Before the kids I wore heels the taller the better, but then they

(kids) came.  I went to church in my pretty lavendar pumps with a 5

yr old, a 2 and 1/2 yr old, and a newborn.  It was Easter Sunday and

the latter of the two first time at church.  We arrived and for about 5

minutes everything was fine and then all heck broke loose.  The

older two started running around and playing, telling and daring

people (who was nice enough to help) to catch them.  As soon as I

got close enough to "catch" one they would run off laughing oh so

gleefully.  My 2 1/2 yr old did take a few minutes to do what we

went to church for.  She knelt down next to our Pastor and prayed

with her, but as soon as she "felt" my presences she took off.  I

pleaded, bribed, and begged for them to stop all while running

around the church with a newborn in my arms.  Whenever the 5 yr

old would stop running he would bounce up and down like that

kangeroo in those bugs bunny cartoons.  By the end of everything I

was soo grateful to God that the preaching and singing was over

cuz I was EXHAUSTED.  I was so mad at myself for wearing pumps to

church with 3 small kids thinking they were gonna actually sit down.

I have not worn heels ANYMORE since then and I've vowed to only

wear flip flops when out with the lil B******S or until they move out!

LMAO I can just picture them all running rings around you in your pretty purple shoes! 'Flip flops' sound like a much more sensible choice! :)
