I'm not the most vocal person in the world. I see and hear a lot, but don't always say anything. Many times it is because I don't know what to say.
But when I see my friends, close friends, being ridiculed and degraded by others simply because of what they've done in their past, it angers me. It upsets me almost to the point of tears. I don't like confronting people because many a time it only makes things worse.
I love intensely. I love almost everyone, including people I've never met. But here's the truth. If you are heartless enough to treat my friends like absolute trash and insensitive enough to attack them based on stories about their pasts, I harbor no good feelings toward you. We've all been through hard times. Personally attacking someone is completely uncalled for.
This story was inspired by one friend in particular, but it applies to everyone on this site who I call my friend: I admire you and care about you, regardless of your past. Don't let anyone tear you down. You're loved.
