Thank Goodness I Didn't Get What I Thought I Wanted

Turns out, my husband is perfect for me. He isn't at all the kind of man I would have imagined for myself, but God is wise enough not to allow our finite minds to limit the gifts He has for us.

Our relationship certainly isn't perfect. Whose is? But the great thing is that our personalities complement each other without being perfect opposites, or a perfect match. We have enough similarities to enjoy our time together, and enough dissimilarities to keep things interesting.

I feel very blessed, even on the days when he throws dirty socks on the floor and forgets to pay the power bill.
