I Love My Job
For the past ten years i've been supporting individuals living with a disability and or mental illness, at times my job can get very challenging more so when the individuals i work with cant communicate their needs and resort to voilence born from frustration.
But there are times when you just know you have given them quality of life, and see them develop a skill you have worked hard on with them, its the greatest satisfaction you could ever ask for in this field.
So day to day i go to work with a smile and strive to give them a voice, be a friend, give a hugg and introduce them to the world around them, and when they smile or giggle that is my reward and that is what i love about my job.........
To all the people in the world living with a disability BE STRONG, STAND TALL, HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH, and say We are all ONE- Dont Diss my Ability
And say to the world (See me), dont pretend i'm not there, i am here to stay.............
