I am so blessed to have such wonderful parents. My mom had me when she was only 17 and not married. She could have tried to get an illegal abortion (this was 1970 before Roe v. Wade) or give me up for adoption, but she chose to keep me when she could have taken the easy way out. When I was 5, she married a wonderful man who adopted me. He is the best dad ever. I love them.

    We are so happy that mom kept you and loved you, It is so hard for a single parent, I commend your mom for her bravery.
