Why Would You Get A Pet If You Weren't Going To Love It?

I love my pets- when I take ownership of an animal, I make a commitment to love and care for that animal for the rest of its life. This is what getting a pet *is*- being responsible for the well-being and happiness of a living creature for as long as it lives. When my pet gets sick or injured, it goes to the vet immediately, and if it needs medication or surgery, I may not be able to afford it, but I find a way to provide for my pet, even if it means borrowing money or trying to appeal to friends and family to help. I even make arrangements with friends and family members to ensure that in the incident of my death, my animals would be cared for and not shoved into some pound. I love my pets, they are family members to me.

Thanks for sharing this how I feel and always will to me they are not just pets they become highly treasured family members and i love them unconditionally just as the bond we share is one of love knowledge and respect for what they are as beings they may be just hounds to some but to me they are the love of my life and I will be there for them now and beyond nothing not even death seperates us the bond we share and the love we feel is what we take with us when we leave this mortal coil. Thanks for sharing your experience great to meet a fellow animal lover.
