My Poor Puppy

I have a 6 and half month old sable white collie named Maximus. He is my baby and is so cute and smart. Unfortunately, he is not doing to well rate now. Poor guy, I was taking him for a walk with my other dog (sheltie named Charlie) and everything was great until Charlie saw a squirrel. Charlie loves squirrels and always tries to get them so off goes Charlie. Fallowed close behind was max. I had them on a retractable lead and I guess when they hit the end Max’s leg was twisted. He let out this cry that I never heard before and fell to the ground. I was heart broken and I had to carry the poor thing home. He weighs 50 lbs let me tell you he felt like 5 lbs because I felt so scared. When we got him to the vet they said it was not broken but it looks like he has hip dysplasia. I really hope he doesn’t because he is so young but I guess I will do what ever it takes. I am not satisfied with this vet and going to go to see an other because she could not tell me what’s wrong with him. It’s been 3 days now and he is still limping really bad and will not put weight on his foot. I will wait till Sunday like she said to do to go back to see the vet.

I feel so helpless and I hate the fact he can not play with his brother: (
