y mother 's father was a Scot and a Scott! We both love the bagpipes, the tartans, the games. I really like the caber toss-that is amazing. (flipping a big long pole end over end). There aren't as many Scottish festivals here in Oklahoma as there are in other states, but we go to all the ones we can.

  | Posted Jul 8th, 2008 at 2:55PM I like the one where they toss what looks like a bag as far as they can ( I don't know what they call it though).My most favorite is the bands opening & closing the games. The food is good too. I also like to watch the dancing but never have the guts to try it. I didn't get to go this year though, hopefully I won't be sick or nothing else. I had a bone spur & couldn't do the walking this time. But next year I am going to go regardless. I've missed 2 years now.   |
