I love that, Des! It's so touching because it's so pure and honest. We have to learn to play games with each other as we grow up. Sometimes, it seems too bad that we have to.

They don't know how to fake being loving. They just go with what they feel, and it creates such joy because it is so sincere. :)

Kids are very intuitive - they just seem to know when Mommy hugs and kisses are needed!

Sorry to hear you are in the funk my friend. I am sending you hugs and lots of Sunshine from the Big Island!

awwwwww!! A 14 year old saying it out of the blue. That is almost extra special because I think by then they get a bit more jaded. That is wonderful!

Little boys ARE very sweet...makes you wonder when they lose that and become typical man jerks huh.... Your wee one sounds so sweet. My little boy is still working on learning to talk but he definitely has "Mama" down pat.... I love how he calls me from his crib when he wakes up....
"Mama?.....Maaamaaaaa....." lol. He's the only man who can wake me up at 4am and not make me grouchy.
