She's Unique

My mom and dad split before I was born, so I didn't have the usual desire for my parents to get back together anyway. I met my stepmom when I was 15, and she was so friendly and adorable, I couldn't help but like her. I lived with her and my dad for a while as a teenager, and though I know I was a trial and she had her own problems to deal with, she always made time to listen to my problems (often getting me to talk) and let me cry on her shoulder. I am lucky to have more than one mom, and I know she considers me her daughter and my son her grandson. We still have long conversations on the phone, even though we now live in different states.

I have 4 children, and the only dad they know, is a step dad. A good man. We didn't work as a married couple, but I thank God for putting him in my childrens life. Anyway, point is, you are very blessed to have a mom, (not biological) who loves you as her own. In her mind, I'm sure you ARE her daughter.
