In Praise Of The Blenders

I am not knocking single barrel, single malt, or small batch, here, but I could never do what the blenders of whiskeys do: 

Mix those concoctions together into something that tastes the same from bottle to bottle, across time.

Just brilliant.  Thanks for the beautiful, brown booze.
