The one thing about Dale Jr. (I am a Jr. fan) is that he will never be like his father. His father was the greatest, he didn't fear anything. As far as tracks go I think the best track to go to is Bristol, I use to go to Darlington every year when I lived in South Carolina.

Your right he isn't like his father, but at the time thats all it was about. I'm glad its more about him now and not always talking about how he's like his dad. I was a Dale Sr. fan, but they put way too much on Jr. We were at the Pepsi 400 when Jr. won the race after his dad died. First race I went to. I'm a big Dale Jr. fan now, but I will always be a Gordon fan also :) I like Bristol too, never been there, thats got to be a fun place to be at. I'm dreading Nascar being over soon, I'll have to go back to watching football. Thanks for reading and commenting.

In order to go to Bristol you have to buy tickets a year in advance they sell out each year. But with Nascar coming to an end it is a bit said but I am hoping for Edwards to take the championship over Stewart. Then on to watch football good thing my team is still undefeated.

Hope they don't just turn left at Sonoma and Watkins Glen.....lol

I became a NASCAR fan in the late sixties. Back then most of them didn't have paid pit crews and had to find help at the local tracks. So much different back then

Great short track race at Martinsville, and my power goes out for 6hrs! I was recording it and the race was one of the best, Dale Jr. really racing like crazy, and I don't even get to see the whole race!.

Go figure, I love short track racing! More exciting, the season is almost over and I probably missed the best race yet.
