I Love Nascar
I just love Nascar, simply stated. I have to admit I fall asleep through alot of races, especially the big tracks where they only race single file. I've been to 4 races and its alot different in person. Those 4 hours go by so fast that you can't believe the race is over. The sound of the cars going by, awesome! Nobody sits down when the race starts, its a one of kind experience to actually be at a race. My husband and I were able to go down on the track and stand at the finish line. My husband was never the shy type, and shocker (my favorite is Jeff Gordon) yeah, I know, boo, no one likes him, even though he has more fans than most.
My husband went to his pit crew and asked them if I could have something from his car, I got a lug nut, cool!, still have it. My husbands favorite at the time was Dale Jarrett, he got some lug nuts off of his car.
Its hard watching the race alone at home now, since my husband died its not the same but I still love it.
I'm becoming a big Dale jr. fan, I never was crazy about him only because it seemed like everyone expected him to be his dad after his father accident. Not to mention his fans all hated Jeff Gordon, lol. So imagine how funny I thought it was when he joined Rick Hendrick's team. Now that he's out of his fathers big shadow, in my eyes, I actually like to watch him race and he's become my second favorite.
He really wants to win and gets so frustrated when they keep changing the rules.
I wish they would just go back to simple racing, its getting to be to political, taking the fun out of it. I don't want anyone to get hurt, but let the guys race!!!!
