Fun For the Weekend

I am going there this weekend. I haven't been in years. What should I do ?

We are only there for two days. I'm not really interested in historical monuments, yawn.

I like art and gardens, and local stuff. I also want to eat the best food in Nashville.

Suggestions, anyone?

Sweet! I've already got tickets for the garden. We are staying at the Wyndam Union....an old train station, right?
Someone at the studio today was talking about some "Alley" where all the clubs are????

There is so much to do and so many nice place to eat and lot's of entertainment that has nothing to do with country, but don't write off that experience either..... you might be surprised

Yeah, but you're not a student either...

So you look like a big stick.
You will be hard to spot in the garden.

Have fun Lilt and then post a blog about it. I am supposed to be going later this year and also have no ideas.

I think I'll drive on over and join you. I'm feeling all jealous again. Nip it in the bud, I say, so look for me. I'm 5'3" and about 20 lbs.

I'll google, d.
I've already found the Cheekwood Botanical Garden. They boast of a woodland sculpture walk, how cool is that.

I wonder if they have a botanical garden? We're there for some awards thingy, but just for a couple of hours on Sat. night.

I'll look up Belle Meade. Thanks.

Country music is my least favorite genre. But I would assume not everybody's playing that tune. I better start surfing, right Annie?

Never been, but know its stellar musical rep. I would definitely check out the clubs. Have fun!

Nashville's pretty cool. There's all kinds of music, obviously. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel when we were there for business, but we didn't get to do a whole lot. Where are you staying? I'd ask the locals for the best places. Otherwise, you'll get steered toward the main tourist things. I always like exploring the truly local things that the people who live there can tell you about. The Belle Meade Plantation is there if you like that sort of thing.
