Serenity Now! Serenity Now!

I live in the heart of the Pine Barrens of New Jersey and am reminded daily about the serenity which surrounds me.  Though my house isI'm only on about nine acres of land (I wish I had more!), the back half of the property has a number of trails that intertwine their way throughout my and neighboring properties.  A few times each week, I take my dog out into the woods, leaving all the stress of work, family, and life in general behind.

For some, the hustle and bustle of living in, or going to, the city is their santuary.  I don't think I'd survive living in the city - in any city.  I know I'm fortunate - the town I live in has only a volunteer fire department and a cemetary (I hope that's just a coincidence), and it doesn't appear on most maps.  For me, though, I wouldn't trade it for anything...except a house with more land.

true, but i'm always looking for more slices of heaven. i'm a big guy with a voracious appetite.

It's my slice of heaven! A few weeks ago, I was supposed to go look at a house that is built on 550 acres...large enough to build a compound...or a militia!
