I love the new moon. The dark moon. When Luna rests.

Whether it's my writing, or walking in the night, or my dreaming or my 'spell work" the new moon is my strongest time.

This is the time between for me. It's between the end and the beginning. For me... there is no better time than the dark of the moon.

Let others celebrate the fullness of her beauty. I'll take the mystery everytime.

    A half a lifetime ago, I had an on again, off again fling with a saucy gal. Most of the time it was just good friends going out but once in awhile it was good friends with benefits night.



    Eventually, I noticed that benefit nights was ONLY during periods of the waxing half full moon. Eventually I pointed out that quirk to her. After she laughed, she started to notice a tendency to get asked out on a 28 day cycle.



    Even though she ran off and married someone else, I can count on her to call and catch up on old times with me based on orbiting real estate.



    Look! It's a half moon. Phone is ringing. Must be Verlene.
