Then I Knew

I've liked NIN ever since I can remember. But when I heard "Lights in the Sky" and "Something I Can Never Have (from the album Still)" I grew to really love them.

Trent Reznor's voice is amazing. He sings with such emotion it's almost as if he can make you feel what he's feeling. I especially love it when he sexy.

hmm, just on a whim.. listen to Bankai, and tell me if you like it.

if you get a chance

Oh, you can? That's awesome. Thanks :)

I used to frequent the podcast all the time, until I downloaded so many remixes I didn't know what to do with myself. Needless to say, I listened to each one (only keeping the best) and suspended myself from going back to soon.

actually.. um, you can get the Terminator Soundtrack remix on
believe me, once i saw the trailer and heard The Day The Whole World Went Away set to Christian Bale blasting away giant robots with a .50 cal ..? I nerdgasmed.. (;*-*)

Haha, really?

Thanks Aninfan :)

Sounds like a plan, I think I'll look for it on You Tube.

As do I.

Oh absolutely. It's running time is 2:30, though if you don't like you-tube, you can download the trailer of iTunes.

I hope I get a chance to see NIN live in concert.

Sadly, neither have I.

Bummer. I can always track down the trailer on the internet though, right?

No I have not.

Don't bother. This particular remix won't be out until the Terminator: Salvation Soundtrack comes out.

Have you had the pleasure of seeing them play in person?

I haven't heard that remix yet. I'm going to check it out.

"Eraser", "The Becoming", and "The Downward Spiral" are my favorite tracks from the CD.

And now, the latest remix to the "Day The World Went Away" which was used on the Terminator: Salvation trailer; absolutely incredible. By far the best version I've heard out of all mixes to the song.

Exactly, Lucifer. You took the adjectives right out of my mouth.

The Downward Spiral was amazing. Seriously, "Closer" has reached cult status and "Hurt" is just...unbelievable. "The Fragile" is a favorite of mine also.

I've been a big fan of Trent's work most of my life thanks to my eldest sister. But the point where i truly wanted to write music and play the way he does came after listening to The Downward Spiral. I can honestly say that I've never heard an album more moving, disturbing, bleak and hauntingly sad and beautiful. Then there is "The Day the World Went Away," "The Fragile," and Year Zero, both the original album and the R3mix3d version.

He truly is an iconic musician.

O, many a sweaty night I had bcz of Trent over the years..... such a morsel.

I'm a Tori Amos fan also, and she's my age. I used to be jealous of her for her friendship with Trent. heehee.

Yes...and I'm so glad you did.
It makes me feel less guilty thinking about it :)

Bunny slippers! and a thong... oops, did I say that out loud?
Hopefully...
I just want to lock him up in a cage and make him sing for me on my command.
No, no just kidding. He needs some TLC :)

Hopefully, Trent will tour again....I just wanna wrap him in a fuzzy blankie and feed him tiny marshmallows and hot cocoa. :)

Yeah, definitely. I was suppose to see them at Mohegan Sun...but that plan fell through. I was so angry.

LOVE NIN. Saw them '95. I hope you have the first 3 cds.
