Israeli soldiers drive tractor over worker’s legs to stop Palestinians from building a house on their (occupied) lands

Today is the Sabbath, and I pray with all my heart that all American Zionists see the pictures below and tell me how an ideology of Jewish separatism that has deprived several million Palestinians of any rights can be justified in today's world.

Two days ago a brave and noble Palestinian man, pictured below-- we don't know his name-- was building a house in the occupied West Bank when Israeli soldiers told the Palestinians they could not build on their land. The village is al-Dirat near Hebron-- Area C, under Israeli control.

The man refused to move. The Israeli army drove a tractor over his legs. The tractor belonged to the Palestinians. The Israeli army had seized it. The man was hospitalized. More information is here.

The photos are by Hazam Bader of AFP.

IloveAllah. Thank you for being so civil. There is more passion around this issue than just about any issue out there, I've read some of your posts here and I know that you're not the type to generalize or exaggerate and I appreciate that.

Thank you for your genuine comment - appreciate it. I do agree, there is much focus on this issue with various sides, opinions and perspectives but yet again it's one of longest conflicts. No matter what side anyone is on, the aim should be peace and all, whether with or against, should focus on subtracting innocent individuals and oppression - hopefully. Anyway, the impossibles can be possible through the weapon of prayer; prayer to shower down peace on all - ameeen. Have a blessed day and righteous life ]PEACE[

Officer: Army 'Heartless' When it Come to Outpost Demolitions
A top officer in the Israeli Police slammed the participation of Arab workers in the demolition of outposts.
A top officer in the Israeli Police slammed the Defense Ministry's decision to allow Arab workers to participate in the demolition of buildings in new neighborhoods (“outposts”) conducted by the IDF, police, and Border Guards over the past few months. Last September, Arutz Sheva reported that Arab workers participated in the demolition of Migron. According to witnesses, the Arabs laughed and joked while pulling apart structures, making fun of the Jews who were being “exiled” from the site. The officer criticized the inclusion of Arabs in the demolition and evacuation of Migron, terming it “heartless.”

The officer also criticized the recent late-night eviction of families from Mitzpeh Avichai by Yassam police. The eviction took place in the pre-dawn hours of a very cold night, with residents, including numerous children, roused from their sleep and thrown out into the cold. “I am very sorry that the operation was conducted as it was,” the officer told Arutz Sheva. “You cannot throw families out into the freezing cold in the middle of the night. It's just not right.”

The IDF apparently does not agree. During a press conference after the Mitzpeh Avichai evictions an IDF officer responded to a query by an Arutz Sheva reporter on the timing of the operation by saying that Border Guards had decided to move ahead with the eviction “in order to avoid confrontations with residents and protesters, who would have made the operation more complicated.” By throwing the residents out in the middle of the night, the official said, protesters did not have the opportunity to gather and prevent the evictions.

Numerous media commentators – and not just those on the right – said that operations to evict Jews from these communities in recent months have taken on the persona of a “price tag” operation, with the IDF apparently seeking “revenge” against innocent residents, who are the “scapegoats” for individuals or groups who have allegedly slashed tires on military vehicles and scrawled graffiti protesting the evictions.

A resident of Migron, Tami Gutman, recently testified in the Knesset about the difficulties that have been imposed on residents of her community in recent months. “They are denying us our basic rights, prohibiting us from even removing our personal items when they come to destroy homes. They took our belongings, wrapped them in sheets and threw them out the window. We tried to shield our children by sending them to neighbors, but they saw the army destroying our home.”

You should stop listening to the very sophisticated zionist instant rebuttal unit.
These guys are just spin doctors for politicians.

Check out how Israel are now gonna de-bar their own (arab) nationals from any constitutional rights if they marry a non-israeli (arab).

Forget the rhetoric and look at the facts.

There is no justification on either side. Wrong is wrong. I just wanted to put my two cents in. The fact remains that the powers that be in Palestine do not want a two state solution. The common people suffer for the stubbornness of both sides. Israel won the region of Palestine in battle and paid with lives and blood. This is how it works with countries, it has been that way for thousands of years. Israel over all has been much more reasonable and humane than most countries have been when they have won land. The problem I see, is that the world is being fed information that makes Israel look like monsters when the truth is, there is a whole other side to these troubles.

@Puck61 -

Firstly, I would like to clarify that I am against the individuals' oppressive and wrong actions towards Palestine. the Zionists Whether Jewish or any belief is their personal choice and not my concern - it's the wrong actions committed on innocent lives that I 'fully' disapprove of. There are plenty of respectable Isrealis who support Palestine. And to people who are against Palestine is their own personal choice, just like it's my choice to support Palestine. Moreover, concerning what you had posted, seriously, may you be guided towards truth of reality, as well as, granting every single nation ongoing elevating sincere belief and implementation of peace and righteousness with ZERO oppression - ameeen . . ]PEACE[

Peza, I'm reminded of the coyote who will chew off it's own leg to free itself from a trap. I believe Israel is being shafted to such an extent that I nearly align myself with Danny Danon. "nearly"
