I Love Penguins
Recently, we took the kids to the zoo to see the penguins.
Seeing them in person is AMAZING! They are so beautiful and fun to watch!
They had them in this special habitat exhibit, that had a white enclosed dome top, and made to look like Antarctica inside. They would dive off the "rock" into the big, deep, nearly eye level pools, and we could see them swimming. Then they would launch themselves up and out of the water, and do it all over again.
There were a few different kinds of penguins there, but the most beautiful were the King penguins. They are fairly big, and their color was so vivid and pure. They were just stunning! I couldn't stop looking at them! Unfortunately I forgot my stupid camera! ditzy destry!
There was a line-up to get in, because they are so popular, but it was definitely worth the wait!
