Me And My Cousin

Just for once... for the fun of it... I thought I'd post a normal, everyday, completely natural picture. This is me and my cousin.

We had just spent three days working in his garden. That included lifting slabs, laying slabs down, tearing down walls, scattering earth, hammering in fence posts, building fences, mixing concrete, laying down a sort of wooden platform and drinking lots of beer. The first two days had all the hard work and we were given good weather to do it in. Bright and sunny, but not too much to deal with. The last day, when all the work had been done, however... that's when it all changed. The weather got brighter and sunnier. And my energy just drained away. I slumped on the bench and could barely move.

Within ten minutes I was showing signs of sunburn, so I clarted myself up with some Factor 50 - and still got the top of my head burnt because it never occurred to me that I didn't have enough hair cover to protect myself, after the recent self-delivered haircut. I felt it slightly tender last night. But this morning, when I was in the shower, I ducked my head under the water and quickly regretted it. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

Anyway... perhaps I should call this picture "A job well done" or something like that.

This shot really captured a great contrast between your cheeky ways and his serious reaction....It begs to make the mind imagine all sorts of exchanges that could have created it!!

We both have that going on. We like to take the **** out of each other. So there are often little moments like that going on.

You still have that devilish grin goin on!! Your cousin is adorable with that serious face too... I have always been a sucker for serious looking and acting men! I LOVE the angle of this shot.....Your leg being sooooo pronounced and forward gives it an awkward feel that just runs away with your grin!! It TOTALLY balances itself with that casual feeling!! <br />

I can't take a decent picture to save my lil life but I love really looking at and thinking about what others can do. I love to look at all kinds of art tho. I guess I am sort of a "creativity junkie"

I put the camera on the floor of the decking and set it to take thirty pictures spaced 5 seconds apart. I can't remember what we were discussing at that point, but I loved it when I looked at it. I think I just said something a bit cheeky and was smirking at him, waiting for his response.
