Great Band!

One of the best bands of all time! Pink Floyd lives in my IPOD and I know I listen to atleast one song a day. I wish that I had a time machine so I could go back in time and see them performe : /

xouldnt agree more

I saw Floyd on their last tour, to support Division Bell, in Toronto Canada, the first of 3 sold out shows at Exhibition Place in 1994.

Needless to say, it was an impressive array of sound, lights and sense stimulations of all kinds... ;)

It had the almost-complete line up of Floyd, featuring David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, and **** Parry on saxophone.

I thought the show was a very convincing and very accurate rendering of many older songs, particularly those from Dark Side and Wish You Were Here.

With the opener, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, it was a pretty stirring reminder of the two absent members, Roger Waters and, in particular, Syd Barrett.

I went out of my way to see them on that tour, and drove home in a packed car full of friends right after the show, arriving back home at around 5:45 AM - no sleep, just endless tunes and craziness, and a fresh copy of the newly released Blade Runner soundtrack re-issue and re-mix by Vangelis in my hands...

Ah, to be young and 24 years old again...;)

Come over here dear boy, have a cigar, you're gonna go far.....

We're just two lost souls swimmin' in a fish bowl...

I listen to all of "Wish You Were Here" about once every two weeks. Best album ever. They are, were and always will be great.

Did you catch Live 8 a few years ago? After not performing together for 20+ years they came on and made everyone else look downright foolish.

It was amazing. They're all too stubborn to do it again, i'm sure. I write to David Gilmour and Roger Waters every year to reunite for my birthday party but no luck so far...
