I got this from Tumblr. I thought this post was interesting.

imagine a video game where you create a hero whose destiny is to save everyone, but throughout the game you start making harder and more questionable decisions, and the game gets darker and darker. and in the end you’re just standing there, clutching the controller and finally realizing you were playing the villain all along

The closest thing I can think of is the Shin Megami Tensei series, on the chaos routes where you side with demons. The most recent one had questions that felt like they had grey and gray morality. I wouldn't say villain though, kind of like an anti-hero.

Anti-heroes work too. They're not good nor necessarily evil. They're in between. That's what makes them so interesting.

Hmm... might use that story for an RPG someday haha. Or not, we'll see.

wow...I'm not even a gamer, though some games my gamer friends talk about seem interesting-this one even I would bother to play. Sounds awesome!

I know right.

That would be cool.

What games do you play?

I play Castlevania, Mario, and Ratchet and Clank.

Nice:) . Can you do me a favor?

Several games out like that. A new one that either came out or is coming out is legacy.

ME can also be much like that only your not a villian.

I'll have to research and look those games up. They sound interesting.

Xbox 360 for ME series.

You can be good or bad in that series.

Legacy is crazy... Looks great, sounds great. You shape your own legacy. Its other legacy or destiny. Its for Xbox one.

Thanks for the info.

Your welcome. I enjoyed ME 2 and 3. Number one side missions were boring and the love story with the asari will make you die in laughter... Not literally thou
