Black~ To Me Most Kind And Peaceful

Many people said ' white
is positive, bright
all goodness'
they may be right.
But I can't stop to wonder
What if black
Is one great answer?
Why should I avoid it
turn my back to black
this wonderful joy?
True, it has no light
but near by any colour
brings out the best of life.
It also strong
no matter what
comes into its sight
will keep unchanged,
Right?
So what if I could
have this choice:
as peaceful 'colour'
Black
I shall love
to fill my void.

    black is beautiful too! and only through the darkness does the white light really shine...so unique this post!

    I have always liked dark colors.They are more appealing for whatever reason.My brother says I'm in darkness because I like the color black,yet he too ended up with a black car,Ha.I read a young ladies post last evening speaking of the color of her skin.Very sad to think that a person could feel so horrible about her skin color.She seemed to be a beautiful person.I messaged her;hope it encouraged her,but I'm old enough to know that we find our confidence through aging.I enjoyed your post.Enjoy your day laughingsoul.

      Sigh, i read it posted this poem as an answer to her story, it saddened me also. To not like self indeed it is a normal thing goes it will calm in time, to despise own kind that is too sad. Let us hope all people will get to love own, color, race, place and grow their hearts to annihilate hate. Thank you, have a day filled with only smiles.
