It's Therapy

I love polishing my boots.  It's so therapeutic.  I don't really know why, I guess it's just concentrating on one little thing and wanting to get it just right...

I use little cotton wool balls, dipped in water and then with a little polish on top.  I make little circles over and over until they shine up really well, and the polish disappears from the wool.  Then I do it again... and again... and again...

Here's a tip:  If you have black boots, apply a layer of dark brown polish between each layer of black.  It makes the shine deeper.

It's a neat little trick :)

That is exactly how I do my husbands boots! It takes so long to get them just how you need them though! I was supposed to be doing my husbands everyday while he's away but I got too caught up on EP instead!<br />

I never knew that about the la<x>yer of brown though - I'll tell my husband but I best not try it myself or he'll kill me lol!

It may turn into a therapy session... :)

The things you learn on EP! I'll keep that in mind next time I have to polish black shoes!
