I Love Psych Tests

Well... Generally I Like Them But...

I generally like using them to learn about myself but, not when they are used for employment screening.  Every time I take one, I try to second guess it... what is the test trying to capture.... what do I want the result to be.

    I was told by a counselor that if you try to "fake it" you are more likely to come out looking like a mentally unstable person and that 99% of people can't fake them any more than a lie detector. The exceptions are sometimes the sociopaths, who have no conscience.

    God knows I don't have any knowledge about these tests, but thought you might be interested in what I heard.

    I think potential employers are looking for any conditions that might cause you to be difficult to work with or incapable of being trusted.
