They Keep Me From Brain Atrophy

Right now, I am a stay-at-home mom and it has its own rewards BUT it sometimes doesn't allow you to use your brain as much as you would like.

I love these books. I do at least one puzzle every night before bed - it also turns my brain off of the worries of the day.

My favorites - #1 Kakuro - math/numbers but different than Sudoku, Syllacrostics, Laddergrams, Identifying the Differences of pictures or finding the matching picture, etc... also the Word Games Puzzles. I, most of the time, will try and do everything in the book but sometimes, I can't help myself - I have to buy a new book - fresh and clean and ready for my brain - ha ha!

I love to read too. I found out that the things you point out for me to read, it turns out awesome. I do love to see what you are reading next. Keep me pdated as I will you..keeping your knoggin' going is a hard thing to do. I enjoy mind usage more than I do verbal. If I can have a day that I learn something, that has been a day worth talking about. I wish I had more days like that.
You are smart enough, you don't need no schoolin'

Thanks for the suggestion - I may do that this summer because those days are wonderful BUT they are kids from morning til late in the night and constant demands for things to entertain them! lol
A course in the evenings may help me preserve my sanity!

Just a suggestion if your looking for a different brain stimulant.
There are a buttload of online courses credit and non credit. Find something that interests you or that you'd like to learn and go to town.
A lot of courses are relatively inexpensive, though there are some that are quite elaborate and expensive.
