Gratitude

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance,
chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast,
a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past,
brings peace for today,
and creates a vision for tomorrow.

So nice, thanks for sharing that.

I am familiar with her work, but somehow overlooked this astonishingly beautiful quote. And it is coming to me through you at a perfect time. You seem to have that knack, as I've mentioned before, for always coming up with something that touches me just when I need it. It is uncanny. I think you are special.

As we discussed, sometimes I just get lucky. Glad you enjoyed it. As far as your last point, when I hear someone use the adjective "special" to describe a person, it usually has a mental health connotation...

Maybe I'm not expressing myself properly; you go around writing nice things on people's stories and you always have a nice sentiment to share. I am glad to know you here. How's that?

I knew exactly what you meant. My humor is so subtle though, that no one seems to get it. I was simply making a joke that your characterization of me as "special" could be misinterpreted...

I knew what you meant too. I got it. But I just wanted to make my point. I like you. So there.

Very well. Point noted.
