Red Sonja, the She-Devil with a Sword, is a fictional character, a high fantasy sword and sorcery heroine, she has become the archetypical example of the fantasy figure of a fierce and stunningly beautiful female barbarian.

The character was loosely based on Red Sonya of Rogatino in Robert E. Howard's short story "The Shadow of the Vulture", Red Sonja is somewhat different from Robert E. Howard's original Red Sonya.

    I love her too thanks for sharing this...writing fantasy, I have a character with a warrior yet beautiful green eyed auburn haired sensual female lead personality as love to Wizard 's Keep (tcrs@) hopefully to be published soon, thanks to your support in my life.;) I looked over the entire illustrated works of Red Sonya and love how her character is depicted, truly fantastical:) love you;)
