Famous Men I Could Have Slept With!
I was 22 the first time I was at a performance by a current “rock star” where I was seated in a small bar they were performing at in the early 70’s and I was sitting at a table right next to the stage in the small bar that George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers were performing at just after the first big hit the band had called “One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer”. I went there with my boyfriend and another male friend of his. George and his 2 band members flirted with me during the entire concert, George climbed on top of the table we were seated at and played his guitar in my “face” so to speak. When the concert was over George and his “Delaware Destroyers” came out and sat at the table next to the one I was sitting at with my boyfriend and his friend. When I left the table to go to the restroom George stood up when I walked by his table and invited me to come by the motel that he was staying at. I was extremely flattered but I politely declined as I was living with my boyfriend and it didn’t seem like the right thing to do. Later on in the evening when I told my boyfriend about the proposition he told me he would have been alright with my having gone to the motel. My thoughts on the situation was to have been asked to the motel room was just as good as having gone there, because I probably would have been remembered for the same amount of time whether I would have slept with George as for having been asked to. Don’t you agree? I also had propositions after that one from Eric Burdon and Robin Zander in other small venue concerts that I also turned down for the same reasons. Don’t you agree that having been asked was the same thing as accepting the offers, I would have just been another notch on their belts and knowing they wanted me was the same as having them. Unless they had been the most fabulous men I ever slept with wasn't it the same to have been asked as to have done it?
