I love to put my trainers on, close the door behind me, and take off. I love to feel the rhythm of my feet hitting the road, and feel my breathing settle into that steady, controlled, flow. I love to feel my muscles working, my joints loosening up and my heart doing what it is designed to do....keep me going for as long as I need to. I love to conquer the hills that have beaten me in the past, and feel the sense of acheivement with each new mile.
Most of all, I love to leave the worries behind and just enjoy being me. No unpaid bills, no relationship stress, no car trouble, no bad hair days, have ever come with me when I am running. It is my time, just for me, and I need it like I need air.
