I once wore a Rush tee shirt in high school and had some dipshit tell me that I can't like Rush because I'm a girl and that I was just trying to look cool and didn't know any of their music. I looked down at the ground and told him that he was right. I didn't know much of their music. At least, the music that Alex Lifeson did with original members Jeff Jones and John Rutsey. But Geddy Lee is one of my favorite bassists and I'm very aware of their catalog since Neil Peart, rock's greatest living drummer, in my opinion, joined the band in 1974. And even though Limelight, Tom Sawyer, and Closer To The Heart are what got me started on the band, I was a bag fan of stuff like 2112, Fly By Night, and the magnum opus La Villa Strangiato. The look on his face was priceless.
