Peace And Comfort

I love hearth fires, of which campfires are a part. I love their warmth, their light, their smell, and I love the energy they bring out in me. Hearth fires settle me, entertain me and feed a very primal need. I love tending the flickering fire under tinkling stars. Rekinding the banked coals from the night before is a skill I've worked to master. The ability to start a fire that provides a source of warmth and joy fills me with a quiet pride. There is nothing quite like a hardwood fire for providing warmth and a place to gather around with friends and family.
