Growing up in the Deep South of the US, we didn't get much of a chance to go sledding, but I did live in other places for a few years, and got to have that joy.  I miss it.

    Well, as an astronomer, I can tell you the Earth hasn't moved any differently recently, but I know what you mean about getting snow. We don't get much where I now live.

    This may sound strange, but I envy all of you that get decent SNOW! and as for sledging, I haven't been able to do that for many a long year the last time was about 21/22 years ago. We don't get snow very often, they have put it down to global warming, but I think the Earth has moved slightly and stops us getting any real weather. No summer no winter, just something in between :o[
