I Need A Lot Of Sleep To Feel Good

Sleeping is so rejuvenating for me, I feel great after sleeping about 10 hours. Recently found out that there is such a thing as "long sleepers" - those who require 10-12 hours of sleep daily in order to feel their best. Tons of articles say it's bad to get short sleep on weekdays & then catch up on weekends, but for me that is absolutely false. I get about 7 hours a night on weekdays, and then try for 10-12 on Sat/Sun. Without that catch-up time, I feel like hell all week long & I also catch colds more often. I just love how refreshed my body feels after sleep, getting up at 7:30 am every day is torture. That's about when I go into my deepest sleep & dream states.

“You know that place between sleep and awake, the place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always love you. That’s where I’ll be waiting.” ~Peter Pan

Used to sleep good, no matter what was going on. Now that has changed and I toss and turn all night waking up a lot. It's awful. Not good waking up tired.

I wish I was like that. Most of the time I wake up a few times in the night and I'm in bed for about 7hrs. I've tried night meds but I actually feel worse the next day. I would love to do what you do. On a positive note, my grandchildren warm my heart & gives me lots of joy. :)

i'm a big sleeper too, always have been. good story :)

I'm exactly like that too! :D
