I Miss Doing Both

Yes, I do! At least I used to. I quit smoking about two months ago. I miss having a cigarette with my morning coffee. But it's not the craving. Just the motions. I won't start again, though. So, I guess I'll tough it out.

I remember while I was in the middle of my first few weeks of not smoking. One of the 'bad' days. We had run out of coffee. We were broke, too. I did scrounge up enough money to get a small container. I told my other half "Go to the store and get some coffee, I've got enough now." He looked at me kind of funny and I snapped back: "WHAT THE HELL?!!! YOU WANT ME TO GIVE UP ALL OF MY ADDICTIONS AT ONCE?!!!!" We both ended up laughing and he said "Give me that money!" My other addictions are food and biting my nails. I don't know how your ex quit both at once. But I understand why.

Ohh! I'm sorry. Yes, the motions are still what I miss the most of smoking. Out of four of us, I was the only one that didn't want to quit. Here I am, the only one that DID quit. It was really rough the first couple of weeks, but I did it! Good luck to you if and when you do try to quit again.
