At Home

As a child growing up in Chicago, I have enjoyed several winters.  I love the snow covered trees, cars, buildings, signs, mailboxes, etc.  Even in a city as busy as Chicago, there is something calming about being covered in snow.  It is a breathtaking sight to go to the forest preserve and see the huge trees covered in snow.  The open field all pristine with bright white glittery snow is so peaceful and quiet.  I love snow covered forests so much that during the winter, I will usually change my desktop image to a snow covered forest.  It reminds me of home.
