A Song For My Lost Ex Girlfriend...

"I'll give you something more..."

It will hurt less soon, my dear. Just let the past go... I will forget that you left me and just hope you do okay, someday. I -do- miss you, but I must forget.

"Psychopomp"

You wanted this
So sad to see
The sweet decay
Of ecstasy

And you want it all

A frozen sun,
Will guide you there
As shadows hide
The deep despair

I'll give you something more
And you'll fade away
One last kiss before
You fade away.

So sleep tonight,
In idle dreams
The pain will drown,
Your silent screams

And you want it all

I'll give you something more
And you'll fade away
One last kiss before
You fade away
Lives you once adored
will fade away
Lies you can't ignore
You soon repay
As you fade away

Those are some dark words. This goes on the list for ultimate break up songs for sure.

I see them as hopeful and forgiving words. I must be quite twisted.

decay, fading away, silent screams....seems kind of angry, but then again I can't listen to it right now. I'm just going by the words you wrote.

Well, I am a goth, so I see comfort in tearing down and decay. It means renewal, and that's what she chose to do alone after everything I helped her with.

Makes since actually. My husband does that. Darker music makes him feel better and explains it pretty much like you actually. I'm just different I guess.
