Moma Mia

As I have said in this experience group before, my mother was an excellent cook. But on area she failed was in making spaghetti.  The meatballs were good but she was lost on the spaghetti. Often times, she would use catsup for the sauce.  But she was the mistress of making do and making things stretch. This was the lasting impression that growing up during the Great Depression had on her and my father.  I was 13 when I discovered that she was getting four quarts of cool-aid out of the two quart packet.  Mother's are inventive.
